Statement of Solidarity: For a Just, Peaceful, and Sustainable Palestine

Afkar Collective affirms its unwavering support for the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, statehood, and a life of dignity and peace. This right is enshrined in international law, including the United Nations Charter, International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the Fourth Geneva Convention, which explicitly prohibits collective punishment and the transfer of civilian populations into occupied territories.

The ongoing occupation, systemic displacement, and denial of basic human rights in Palestine constitute grave violations of these legal frameworks. The failure of the international community to enforce these norms undermines the very foundations of global justice and accountability.

We advocate for an ecosystemic approach to peace—one that recognizes the interdependence of ecological integrity, cultural resilience, economic justice, and human rights. Palestine’s future must be built not only on political sovereignty but also on the restoration of its ecosystems, the empowerment of its communities, and the preservation of its cultural heritage.

Peace cannot be achieved through domination or dispossession. It must be cultivated through justice, reparative action, and the dismantling of structures that perpetuate violence and inequality. We call on global institutions, civil society, and individuals of conscience to uphold international law, challenge impunity, and support Palestinian-led visions for a sustainable and liberated future.
